Founded by Andrew Mateljan, the owner of Laguna Beach Tennis Academy and the official tennis provider for the city, Racket Rescue is committed to making racket maintenance easy and accessible. We believe tennis should be fun and convenient, which is why we offer mobile pickup, expert stringing, and quick delivery—so you can focus on your game, not the errands.
We support local tournaments, high schools, and charities to grow the sport we love.
Andrew Mateljan
Andrew Mateljan founded Racket Rescue after years as a top-ranked junior (U.S. #12, SoCal #3) and semi-pro player.
He now also runs the Laguna Beach Tennis Academy, coaching athletes of all ages and skill levels.
Andrew’s vision is simple: make racquet maintenance convenient and reliable for every player in Laguna Beach.
Scott’s Bio
Scott is our master stringer, bringing years of expertise to each racquet. From simple restrings to custom balancing jobs, his meticulous work keeps local players—and visiting pros—ready for match day.
